RESOLUTION NO. 2025-13 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA RECEIVING A GRANT AWARD OF $28,286 FROM PARKS CALIFORNIA AND AMENDING THE FY 2024-25 OPERATING BUDGET BY INCREASING REVENUE ESTIMATES AND APPROPRIATING THE $28,286 IN AWARDED GRANT FUNDS WHEREAS, the City recognizes the importance and fostering wellness and strengthening the capacity of the community to increase social connection and mental wellbeing.
WHEREAS, the Pomona Pathfinders on the MOVE proposal was selected by Parks California to receive grant funding for FY 2024-25 to dedicate its efforts to improving the wellbeing of youth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2024-25 Operating Budget by increasing revenue estimates and appropriating $28,286 in awarded grant funds (Fund 215-4190-40380/51040 and 52370-58806).
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
