RESOLUTION NO. 2025-23
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, DISSOLVING THE CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC WORKS AD HOC COMMITTEE, WHICH INCLUDES THE ENVIRONMETAL STEWARDSHIP AND TRANSPORTATION SUBCOMMITTEES WHEREAS, On September 21, 2009, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2009-159 to establish a City Council Transportation Subcommittee to assist in review of transportation policy matters. On November 15, 2010, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2010-145 to form an Environmental Stewardship Subcommittee to address solid waste, recycling, energy policy, surface water runoff, and other critical municipal environmental issues. Both of these subcommittees have been supported by the Public Works Department under the umbrella of the Public Works Ad Hoc Committee; WHEREAS, the City Council members appointed to this ad hoc committee advised this committee has not been meeting; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council Public Works Ad Hoc Committee is now dissolved.
SECTION 2. That Resolution No. 2009-159, which established a standing City Council Transportation Subcommittee, is hereby rescinded and voided.
SECTION 3. That Resolution No. 2010-145, which established a standing City Council Environmental Stewardship Committee, is hereby rescinded and voided.
