A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2024-25 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY CREATING A NEW PROJECT, “POMONA EMERGING TRANSPORTATION TECHNOLOGIES (PETT)” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-68597 AND ACCEPTING, INCREASING REVENUE ESTIMATES, AND APPROPRIATING $10,621,872 OF FEDERAL HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION (FHWA) FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 ADVANCED TRANSPORTATION TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION (ATTAIN) PROGRAM GRANT FUNDS TO THE PROJECT WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 2024-25 CIP Budget by creating a new project, “Pomona Emerging Transportation Technologies (PETT),” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68597; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to accept $10,621,872 of Fiscal Year 2023-24 Advanced Transportation Technology and Innovation (ATTAIN) program grant funds; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 2024-25 CIP Budget by appropriating $10,621,872 of ATTAIN Program grant funds to “Pomona Emerging Transportation Technologies (PETT),” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68597.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2024-25 CIP Budget by creating a new project, “Pomona Emerging Transportation Technologies (PETT),” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68597.
SECTION 2. The City Council accepts $10,621,872 of Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Fiscal Year 2023-24 Advanced Transportation Technology and Innovation (ATTAIN) Program grant funds.
SECTION 3. The City Council amends the FY 2024-25 CIP Budget by increasing revenue estimates and appropriating $10,621,872 of Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Fiscal Year 2023-24 Advanced Transportation Technology and Innovation (ATTAIN) Program grant funds to “Pomona Emerging Transportation Technologies (PETT),” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68597 (Revenues: 428-2590-40875-68597, Expenditures: 428-2590-66196-68597).
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
