RESOLUTION NO. 2025-40
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2024-25 OPERATING AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGETS BY UNAPPROPRIATING $200,000 OF GENERAL FUND YOUTH COMMITMENT FUNDING AND APPROPRIATING THIS $200,000 OF GENERAL FUND YOUTH COMMITMENT FUNDING TO “PARK IMPROVEMENTS – SPORT COURT RESURFACING AND RESTRIPING CITYWIDE,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71069 WHEREAS, the City Council desires to rejuvenate and repave sports courts in public parks; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 2024-25 Operating Budget and FY 2024-25 CIP Budget by re-appropriating $200,000 of General Fund Youth Commitment Funding savings from the Operating Budget to the CIP Project “Park Improvements – Sport Court Resurfacing and Restriping Citywide,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71069 to provide for the resurfacing of 13 basketball courts and one tennis court.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2024-25 Operating Budget by unappropriating $153,218 from 101-4191-52350-00000 and $46,782 from 101-4191-52620-00000 and amends the FY 2024-25 CIP Budget by appropriating this $200,000 of available General Fund Youth Commitment Funds (101-4191-89987-71069, 428-2590-66196-71069, 428-2590-80701-71069) to “Park Improvements – Sport Court Resurfacing and Restriping Citywide,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71069.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
