RESOLUTION NO. 2025-55
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2024-25 OPERATING BUDGET TO INCREASE REVENUE ESTIMATES AND APPROPRIATIONS BY $98,700 WHEREAS, in February 2024, San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments (SGVCOG) announced the Rapid Housing Development Program (RHoD) providing an opportunity for San Gabriel Valley cities to attain Measure H funding to support and supplement existing homeless programs; and, WHEREAS, the application indicated the SGVCOG established RHoD to provide cities and service providers with an additional resource to secure units and/or beds on a longer-term basis that are available more quickly than the time it takes to construct affordable housing units; and WHEREAS, the City of Pomona submitted an application to fund the Interim Housing Site for families experiencing homelessness located at the Pomona Family Sanctuary; and, WHEREAS, the SGVCOG approved the program application for the Interim Housing Program and awarded a total of $98,700 in Measure H funding; and, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. Authorize the amendment of the FY 2024-25 Operating Budget increasing revenue estimates and appropriations by $98,700.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
