RESOLUTION NO. 2025-76
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING APPENDIX B OF THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE POMONA CITY EMPLOYEES’ CHAPTER OF THE TEAMSTERS LOCAL 1932 BY ADDING VARIOUS CLASSIFICATIONS WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to create, classify and assign salary scales/ranges for all City of Pomona classifications; WHEREAS, on December 11, 2023, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2023-244 adopting the 2023-2027 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Pomona and the Pomona City Employees’ Chapter of the Teamsters Local 1932 (PCEA/Teamsters), which also established a Roster of PCEA General Service classifications; and WHEREAS, in order to meet department staffing needs, the City Council desires to amend Appendix B of the aforementioned PCEA MOU by adding the classifications of Senior Plans Examiner and Stormwater Maintenance Crew Leader.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona, California, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby authorizes an amendment to Appendix B of the PCEA/Teamsters MOU by adding the following classifications:

SECTION 2. That any portion of previously adopted Resolutions concerning salaries inconsistent with this Resolution shall be deemed repealed.
SECTION 3. The action approved herein shall become effective July 13, 2025.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution and it shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
