RESOLUTION NO. 2025-82
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2025-26 MASTER FEE SCHEDULE BY ADDING THE CALIFORNIA DAYLIGHTING LAW (AB 413) PARKING CITATION FEE UNDER POLICE SERVICES FEES WHEREAS, California’s “Daylighting Law” went into effect on January 1, 2025, and; WHEREAS, parking, stopping, or standing is prohibited within 20 feet of the vehicle approach side of any marked or unmarked crosswalk, and; WHEREAS, the FY 2025-26 City of Pomona Master Fee Schedule will include California Vehicle Code Section 22500(n)(1)(A) with a set parking citation fee of $68.45 under Police Services Fess.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby acknowledges California Vehicle Code section 22500(n)(1)(A) (California Daylighting Law - AB 413).
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby approves the parking citation fee of $68.45, amending the Police Services Fee section of the FY 2025-26 Master Fee Schedule.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall be effective immediately upon its approval.
