FIRE SERVICES AGREEMENT COST RECOVERY - POMONA
On February 22, 1994, the Consolidated Fire Protection District of Los Angeles County (District) entered into an Agreement with the City of Pomona (City) to provide Fire Protection, Hazardous Materials, Emergency Medical, and All Related Services (Agreement). The current Agreement included cost sharing by the District at $5.6 million annually. The District is now seeking $5.1 million in cost recovery from the City.
The District takes pride and values the partnership we have with the City, however, due to the need for additional cost recovery, the District is no longer in a position to continue sharing $5.1 million annually. The District is requesting to formally meet to discuss amending the current Agreement. Staff will be reaching out to schedule a meeting within fourteen days and the District is looking forward to our continued partnership with the City.
