RESOLUTION NO. 2025-64 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING $676,100 IN GRANT FUNDING FROM POMONA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR OUTDOOR & ACTIVE IN 2025-26 WHEREAS, the City desires to provide a wide variety of specialty programs at City parks adjacent or in close proximity to Pomona Unified School District schools designed to address the academic, recreational, and social/emotional needs of district students ages 4-17; and WHEREAS, Pomona Unified School District desires to contract with the City and has made $676,100 in grant funding available to provide such services; and WHEREAS, the City will seek to use this allocation to fund staffing levels, program supplies, and admission fees associated with program trips and activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council accepts Pomona Unified School District grant allocation of $676,100.
SECTION 2. As part of the annual budget process, staff estimated $676,100 in O&A Youth Program grant fund revenue projections and appropriations (215-4190-40916-58765/215-4190-5XXXX-58765) for FY 2025-26.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
