RESOLUTION NO. 2025-85 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING the Consolidated Plan, Fiscal year (FY) 2025-26 Annual Action PLAN, AND FY 2025-26 CITY OPERATING BUDGET TO REALLOCATE $200,000 in Emergency Solutions Grants, RAPID UNSHELTERED SURIVORS HOUSING (ESG-RUSH) FUNDS for rapid re-housing ACTIVITIES WHEREAS, the City of Pomona, pursuant to Federal regulations, has prepared, circulated and solicited public input and conducted a public hearing on the FY 2025-26 Annual Action Plan proposed funding; WHEREAS, the approvals herein are preliminary for inclusion in the Annual Action Plan and final approvals will be adopted at the conclusion of the 10-day public comment period; WHEREAS, the City Council must find that under the Federal guidelines established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the proposed changes are eligible uses of ESG-RUSH funds and will serve low- to moderate-income persons and/or areas; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to amend the FY 2025-26 Adopted Operating Budget; and WHEREAS, based on the foregoing, the City Council desires to allocate the unexpended ESG-RUSH funds to eligible activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Pomona, as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2025-26 Operating Budget to reallocate revenue estimates and appropriate funding as follows:
