RESOLUTION NO. 2025-124
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMEND FISCAL YEAR (FY) 2025-26 OPERATING BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $82,000 FROM GENERAL FUND RESERVES FOR RENTAL REGISTRY SOFTWARE WHEREAS, On August 1, 2022, the City Council adopted Urgency Ordinance No. 4320, which established an initial regulatory framework that capped rent increases at either 4% or the change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), whichever is lower. On April 17, 2023, the Council adopted Urgency Ordinance No. 4329, which amended Ordinance No. 4320 to include provisions for relocation assistance in cases of no-fault evictions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. Amend FY 2025-26 Operating Budget by appropriating $82,000 from available General Fund Reserves to Contract Services (101-4201-52285-00000) for the Rental Registry software.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
