RESOLUTION NO. 2025-139
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE CITYWIDE SALARY SCHEDULE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025-26 IN ACCORDANCE WITH CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS TITLE 2, SECTIONS 570.5 TO ADD THE DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF ECONOMIC & BUSINESS AFFAIRS CLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to create, classify and design salary scales/ranges for all City of Pomona employee positions; WHEREAS, California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 2, Section 570.5 requires governing bodies of local agencies contracting with CalPERS to approve and adopt a publicly available pay schedule in accordance with public meeting laws; WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to meet the requirements of these regulations by adopting a Salary Schedule, which sets forth the salary scales/ranges for all City of Pomona employee classifications; WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Salary Schedule adopted by City Council Resolution Number 2025-77 and amended by resolution 2025-106; WHEREAS, “Exhibit A” includes the updated Citywide Salary Schedule that reflects the new classification of Deputy Director of Economic & Business Affairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby adopts the Citywide Salary Schedule for all City of Pomona employee classifications as set forth in the attached “Exhibit A”.
SECTION 2. The action approved herein shall become effective November 17, 2025.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and it shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
