RESOLUTION NO. 2025-137
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2025-26 OPERATING BUDGETS BY INCREASING REVENUE ESTIMATES BY $472,479 AND APPROPRIATIONS BY $354,591 WHEREAS, State of California Government Code Section 30061–30063, counties and cities annually receive allocated funds to be deposited into a Supplemental Law Enforcement Services Account (SLESA) to provide assistance to local law enforcement agencies to enhance front-line crime fighting capabilities; and WHEREAS, the City of Pomona is required to adopt an expenditure plan for SLESA funds received from the State of California; WHEREAS, the authority to amend the current FY 2025-26 Operating Budget to appropriate FY 2025-26 SLESA funds received is vested with the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves the Police Departments Expenditure Plan for FY 2025-26 Supplemental Law Enforcement Services (SLESA) SECTION 2. The City Council hereby amends the FY 2025-26 Operating Budget by increasing revenue estimates (281-2090-40873-00000) in the amount of $472,479 and appropriations (281-2090-5XXXX-00000) in the amount of $354,591.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
