RESOLUTION NO. 2025-102
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE CITY OF POMONA PARKS INVENTORY PLAN WHEREAS, the City of Pomona’s 2014 General Plan Open Space Network Element describes parks, public recreation facilities, and other open space areas in the City of Pomona (“City”) as essential components for livable and healthy communities, especially in urbanized areas; and WHEREAS, the City desires to adopt an official document codifying the existing parks, public recreation facilities, and open space areas located within the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council adopts the Park Inventory Plan (Exhibit “A”) and associated Park Exhibits (Exhibit “B”) as the official document codifying the existing parks, public recreation facilities, and open space areas located within the City.
SECTION 2. The Parks Inventory Plan does not add new park spaces.
SECTION 3. The City Council authorizes the City Manager to administratively amend the Parks Inventory Plan for non-substantive modifications (substantive meaning adding new parks) including updating with an amenities inventory and other related information.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
