RESOLUTION NO. 2026-04
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2025-26 OPERATING BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $74,985 FROM THE GENERAL FUND RESERVES FOR PUBLIC INFORMATION AND AWARENESS RELATED TO A CITY-INITIATED BALLOT MEASURE WHEREAS, pursuant to the Pomona City Charter, amendments to the Adopted FY 2025-26 Operating Budget require approval by City Council by Resolution; and WHEREAS, as allowed by the City’s Charter, the recommended actions will authorize the appropriation of $74,985 from available General Fund reserves to award a contract to Westbound Communications for providing public information and awareness services related to a city-initiated ballot measure to amend and refine Measure Y; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Operating Budget by appropriating $74,985 from the General Fund reserves to Fund 101-0101-52285-00000.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
