FIRST AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT FOR CONTRACTOR SERVICES
POMONA ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY CENTER (PEOC)
This FIRST AMENDMENT to the AGREEMENT is entered into by and between the CITY OF POMONA (“CITY”) and POMONA ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY CENTER (“CONTRACTOR”), hereinafter referred to as the Parties.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, on April 01, 2025, City staff entered into a sole source agreement with Pomona Economic Opportunity Center (PEOC) to provide immigration services from April 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026; and WHEREAS, on April 05, 2025, the City Manager approved the initial award of $98,000 in LIIIG funds; and WHEREAS, the parties now desire to enter into a FIRST AMENDMENT to award additional funding throughout the contract term for a total amount not to exceed $166,254.36; and NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows:
The FIRST AMENDMENT awards an additional $68,254.36 in LIIIG funds bringing the total award to $166,254.36. Section 5A “Compensation” is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows:
“CONSULTANT agrees that the fees for services may not exceed the authorized amount of One Hundred Sixty Six Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Four Dollars and Thirty Six Cents ($166,254.36), as set forth in Exhibit “B,” attached hereto, unless the CITY has given specific advance approval in writing.
All other terms and conditions of the AGREEMENT and any amendments thereto shall remain in full force and effect, except as otherwise stated in this Amendment. [Signatures on Following Page]
