RESOLUTION NO. 2026-35
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE CITYWIDE SALARY SCHEDULE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025-26 IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS TITLE 2, SECTION 570.5 TO IMPLEMENT A FOUR PERCENT (4%) SALARY INCREASE FOR THE CITY MANAGER WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to create, classify and design salary scales/ranges for all City of Pomona employee positions; WHEREAS, the pay schedule must identify each position by title, the pay rate amount or ranges, and the time base for each pay rate; WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to meet the requirements of these Regulations by adopting a Salary Schedule, which sets forth the salary scales/ranges for all City of Pomona employee classifications; WHEREAS, the City Council desires to further amend the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Citywide Salary Schedule, adopted by City Council Resolution Number 2025-77 and amended by Resolution Numbers 2025-106 and 2025-139; and WHEREAS, “Exhibit A” includes the Citywide Salary Schedule that reflects the new salary rate for the City Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby adopts the Salary Schedule for all City of Pomona employee classifications as set forth in the attached “Exhibit A” to reflect a four percent (4%) salary increase for the City Manager.
SECTION 2. The action approved herein shall become effective retroactive to February 8, 2026.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and it shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
