The City of Pomona is in the process of preparing and updating its 2025 Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) and Water Shortage Contingency Plan (WSCP) in compliance with the Urban Water Management Planning Act. An update of City of Pomona’s UWMP is required every five (5) years.
Water Code Se
ction 10621(b) requires an urban water supplier updating its UWMP and WSCP to notify cities and counties within its service area of the update at least sixty (60) days prior to holding a public hearing, thereby encouraging public involvement and agency coordination. This letter serves as the City of Pomona‘s notice that it is preparing and updating its 2025 UWMP and WSCP.
