RESOLUTION NO. 2026-99
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE FY 2026-27 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $613,226 OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT: $10,000 TO “WESTMONT PARK RESTROOM REHABILITATION” PROJECT NO. 71130; $196,800 TO “ADA CURB RAMPS AND PATH OF TRAVEL - CITYWIDE (CDBG) (FY 26-27),” PRJ-00006; $95,689 TO “STREETLIGHTS - CITYWIDE (CDBG) (FY 25-26 TO FY 27-28),” PROJECT NO. 68600; AND $310,737 TO “STREET IMPROVEMENTS - CITYWIDE (CDBG) (FY 25-26 TO FY 27-28)” PROJECT NO. 67949 WHEREAS, the City Council has identified various eligible public infrastructure and capital improvement projects that further the objectives of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for the benefit of the community; WHEREAS, on June 15, 2026, the City Council authorized CDBG funding to be used for the capital improvements listed in Exhibit A when it adopted Pomona’s FY 2026-27 Annual Action Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to appropriate $613,226 of the FY 2026-27 CDBG allocations to those projects as identified in Exhibit A of this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2026-27 CIP Budget by appropriating $613,226 of FY 2026-27 CDBG Allocations as detailed in Exhibit A of this Resolution.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
