A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
POMONA, CALIFORNIA TO AMEND THE FY 2025- 26
OPERATING BUDGET TO ADJUST REVENUE ESTIMATES AND
APPROPRIATIONS FOR TRI- CITY MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE
ACT FUNDING TRI- CITY) AND AMEND THE CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM ( CIP) BUDGET BY CREATING A
NEW CIP PROJECT, " 2040 N. GAREY AVENUE HOUSING UNITS", FD428 CIP CC1791 CIP WORKTAG : PRJ- 00004 APPROPRIATING 4, 448, 850 IN TRI- CITY FUNDING AND
REAPPROPRIATE $985,567 OF SERIES AQ HOUSING BOND
PROCEEDS FROM 252 E. 4TH STREET MAJOR
REHABILIATION ," FD428 CIP CC2590 CIP WORKTAG :
PROJECT 71210 TO NEWLY CREATED PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City Council desiresto provide additionalfunding for the installationof prefabricatedmodularhousingunits andall necessarysiteimprovements; and WHEREAS, $985,567 of SeriesAQ Housing Bond Proceedsis available to fund the project from252E. 41hStreetMajorRehabilitationproject.
WHEREAS, theCity Councildesiresto amendtheFY 2025-26 OperatingBudgetby adjusting revenueestimatesandappropriationsarenecessaryto accuratelyreflectthe receiptof $4,448,850 of Tri-City funding to properly accountfor thesefundsandensuretheir appropriateallocation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomonaas follows:
SECTION 1 . The Fiscal Year 2025-26 OperatingBudget is herebyamendedto adjustrevenue estimatesand appropriationsin the appropriatefundsand accountsto reflect Tri- City Mental Health ServicesAct funding receivedthrough the Tri-City Mental Health Authority in the amountof 4, 448, 850.
SECTION 2. TheFY 2025-26 CIP Budgetis herebyamendedto createanew project, "2040 N. GareyAvenueHousingUnits" andappropriating $4,448 ,850of Tri-City HealthAuthority Grant Funds (FD215 CC1791PRJ-00004GR58821 ) for saidproject.
SECTION 3. The City Council amendsthe FY 2025 -26 CIP Budget by unappropriating 985,567of SeriesAQ HousingBondproceedsfrom "252E. 4th StreetMajor Rehabilitation," FD428 CIP I CC2590CIPIWORKTAG: Project71210 (FD247CC6201CR) and appropriatingthe same amount to the newly created CIP project, "2040 N. Garey Avenue Housing Units," ( FD247 CC6201 PRJ- 00004 DR).
SECTION 4. The City Manager, or designeeis herebyauthorizedto make all necessary budgetaryadjustmentsandto implementprovisionsof this Resolution.
