RESOLUTION NO. 2026-101
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE SITE OPERATOR AGREEMENT WITH VOLUNTEERS OF AMERICA OF LOS ANGELES (VOALA) AND AMENDMENT TO THE FY 2026-2027 OPERATING BUDGET INCREASING REVENUE ESTIMATES BY $684,695 AND APPROPRIATIONS BY $1,526,563 WHEREAS, on July 17, 2017, the City Council approved awarding a contract to VOALA as the selected Hope for Home Site Operator for an initial 5-year period from November 30, 2018, through June 30, 2023; and, WHEREAS, on September 09, 2024, the City Council approved the First Amendment to the agreement extending the term until June 30, 2025; and, WHEREAS, on October 06, 2025, the City Council approved the Second Amendment to the agreement extending the term until June 30, 2026; and, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. Authorize the Third Amendment to the Hope for Home Site Operator agreement extending the term until June 30, 2027, and awarding $2,347,671 to VOALA.
SECTION 2. Amend FY 2026-2027 Operating Budget by increasing revenue estimates by $684,695 and appropriations by $1,526,563 per the chart below:
