The City’s approved master fee schedule collects permit and technology fees for the purpose of addressing the general upkeep, improvement, and upgrade of the permit system. The permit and technology fee revenues are allocated to fund FD431, which has a current fund balance of $266,141. The recommended action will increase the appropriation of the Permit System Improvement Budget by $60,000 for a total appropriation of $66,000 for the renewal of the City’s enterprise permit system, Tyler EnerGov, and leaving a fund balance of $206,141. The upgrade would allow for enhanced and streamlined efficiencies for the City’s building permit system.
