RESOLUTION NO. 2026-119
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2026-27 OPERATING BUDGET BY INCREASING REVENUE ESTIMATES AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,067 WHEREAS, the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) requires that the City of Pomona formally accepts the terms and conditions of the Standards and Training for Corrections (STC) Grant awarded to the City in the amount of $15,067, WHEREAS, the Police Department’s expenditure plan for the Standards and Training for Corrections (STC) Grant will be used to support State required training and certifications for eligible Police staff; and, WHEREAS, authority to accept the Standards and Training for Corrections Standards and Training for Corrections (STC) Grant and amend the FY 2026-27 Operating Budget by increasing revenue estimates and appropriations in the amount of $15,067 is vested with the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby amends the FY 2026-27 Operating Budget by increasing revenue estimates FD215 – CC2090 – 43000 Intergovernmental – Grant-State – GR00092 and appropriations FD215 – CC2090 – 52000 Controllable Expenses – Training In-Service – GR00092 in the amount of $15,067.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager, or designee, is hereby authorized to execute any and all agreements on behalf of the City, in substantially the form submitted, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney.
SECTION 3. That City Clerk shall attest to and certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and it shall be effective immediately upon its approval.
