CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Rollins called the meeting to order at 12:01 p.m.

Present: Councilmembers Gama, Perez; Mayor Pro Tern Martinez; Mayor Rollins
Absent: Councilmember Hernandez
PUBLIC COMMENT -None
BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Ratification of Labor Contract with Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 721
Deputy City Manager Charles Peretz presented the report and answered questions from Council. There were no public comments.
A motion was made by Councilmember Gama, seconded by Councilmember Perez, to ratify the three-year Comprehensive Memorandum of Agreement by adopting Resolution No. 4420 approving a Memorandum of Agreement with the City of Port Hueneme General CC Special Meeting Minutes 7-20-2022, Page 1 of 2
Unit Employees represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), Local 721 with a contract period of July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2025.
Before the vote was taken, Deputy City Manager Charles Peretz stated for the record, that a correction was made to the attachment of the Resolution that Council will be adopting which had incorrect year information in two locations which stated 2012 and should have stated 2022.
Mayor Rollins indicated that the friendly amendment would be included as part of the motion.
Motion carried by Roll Call Vote as follows:
AYES: Gama, Perez, Martinez, Rollins
NOES: None; ABSENT: None; ABSTAIN: None.
ADJOURNMENT
The City Council adjourned at 12:10 p.m. to its next regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 6:30 p.m.
