Notice and Call of a Special Meeting of the City Council NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special Budget Workshop meeting of the Port Hueneme City Council, Housing Authority and Surplus Property Authority, is hereby called to be held on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at the Orvene S. Carpenter Community Center, Auditorium: 550 Park Avenue, Port Hueneme, CA 93041, and virtually via Zoom (link is provided in attached agenda).
Said special meeting shall be for the purpose of conducting business in accordance with the attached Agenda.

Written: All written public comments should be no more than 500 words and are subject to the Public Records Request Act. Written comments should be submitted to the City/Authority Clerk by 2:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting by email or directly to the City/Authority Clerk’s Office. PUBLIC COMMENT
For a special meeting members of the public may submit comments only for items on the Agenda which will be heard when the item is addressed. BUSINESS
1. BIENNUAL BUDGET FISCAL YEARS 2023-24 AND 2024-25 WORKSHOP Recommendation:
1. Provide feedback on the proposed draft budget; and
2. Allow for public participation and comments for Council/Board consideration; and
3. Direct staff to incorporate any amendments and return with a final budget for Adoption on June 5, 2023.
ADJOURNMENT
The City Council/Housing Authority will adjourn to its next regular meeting scheduled for Monday, June 5, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. The Surplus Property Authority will adjourn to the next meeting with a date yet to be determined.
