Mayor Martinez called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.

Present: Councilmembers Steven A. Gama, Laura D. Hernandez, Martha R. McQueen-Legohn; Mayor Pro Tern Misty Perez (arrived at 3:04 p.m.); Mayor Roberto “Bobby” Martinez
Absent: None
PUBLIC COMMENT -None.
BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Governance Role Training Session Two
Recommendation: None. This is an informational item only.
Consultant Gerry Preciado presented an interactive training entitled, “The Wedge - A Simple Metaphor to Improve All Your Relationships at Work".

The meeting was reconvened at 4:14 p.m. Consultant Gerry Preciado briefly introduced Toni Consolo, California Joint Powers Insurance Authority (CJPIA) Senior Risk Manager Region 7, and then continued the interactive presentation.
ADJOURNMENT
The City Council adjourned at 5:28 p.m. to its next regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 6:30 p.m.
