Dear City Council,
As a longtime resident of Port Hueneme, I am in full support of allocating the funds raised for a K-9 unit to be used specifically toward drug enforcement efforts in our city. I believe the Port Hueneme Police Department has been doing an excellent job, and I want to ensure they have all the tools necessary to continue keeping our community safe.

City Counsel, I just wanted to let you know that I am a real estate broker in Ventura County. I have been here for over 40 years. I think having numerous canine dogs in the Port Hueneme police department is the smartest move that can be made. The dogs are loyal and can find drugs faster than any human. They are also therapy dogs for the officers themselves and for the department and the community.
