Good evening City Council,
My name is Lori Haskins I live at here in Port Hueneme. I have lived here for 25 years. Last year in the empty lot across the street from me they built 5 apartments not a problem they started before 7am we never complained, last week they started with these lights on a timer. They are so bright they blind people as they are driving down 4th Place. I have always backed into my garage and the light is blinding. This is not a retail parking lot but it has the lighting as if it was. My unit is directly across the street from the lights. They are so bright inside my unit that I no longer have to use any lights to go up and down my stairs in the middle of the night. These pictures were taken at 2am. This is a nuisance for all the people that live around these apartments. I feel LED lighting should not be used in a residential area it impedes others around them.
Thank you for your help in this matter. Please take a short drive when you leave tonight by this complex on your way home to see what I am saying for yourself would you like these lights across from your house? Thankyou again
