Good evening council. "Flock" cameras systems throughout our small community have become a disservice to us all, and 4th amendment violation are now being challenged in the courts do to these devices that police feel are necessary to invade the privacy of every person in this community. For all of us to be secure in our effects and person, these devices must be removed now. Police no longer have an incentive to do their jobs properly since they alone want their jobs to be streamlined and yet get paid twice what they should actually be making for less work. Police throughout the United States have been fired or charged for flock misuse, including data sharing which is against California law, yet police here and elsewhere are participating in it. It has become obvious that the police chief does not know how to handle his department by allowing misuse of these devices, and you as a city council have taken a back seat to what is just and proper for the safety and privacy of all community residents. It is my hopes that the 3 seat available this November will knock dead beats off of this council and bring in reasonably minded individuals that will have the courage to manage the police department properly. All residents have to do is research to see how these devices are harming trust within our community and harming innocent people because the police department here uses these as their crack cocaine to get their fix by continually surveilling everyone indiscriminately. I don't believe anyone in the police department would be happy if their license plate information to their personal vehicles were photographed and released to the public, which can be easily accomplished. I encourage each of you to snap out of this stupor that you have been in for years on end, and learn how to protect your community from this type of intrusion instead of oppressing community residents because of the whims of the police department who do not seem to care anything about the privacy of others in this community, regardless of these intrusive devices being on public streets or not. Cities throughout the United States are removing these devices, including L.A. and Oxnard. I am encouraging you to do the same, as it will happen eventually, with or without you. We are no safer with these devices as there's absolutely no proof to show that we are. If police would go back and reexamine how they actually do their work, they might be a better fit for our community, instead of feeling the need to watch everyone of us at every moment like they're doing now with the LVT'S everywhere that are costing the taxpayers an outrageous amount of tax payer money, as none of you seem to be concerned about the way that you spend the taxpayers revenue on crap like this. And the last part is that every Community member needs to wake up and get involved instead of sitting on their hands and letting things like that pass by that totally infringe upon our privacy and trust, including destroying our budget each and every year.

Stop lying to community residents, and wasting valuable resources and get your house in order. At least 53 municipalities and counting have deactivated their systems or terminated their contracts with Flock. Cities cite sever concerns over mass surveillance, data sharing with unauthorized agencies, and federal access.

The need for mass servalance will never outweigh constitutional rights of the people to be free of unreasonable searches by a hand full of dunce caps that feel differently. Fire these idiots in November city residents, as they have become useless to its residents, and have allowed every community member to be watched everyday by a department that does not care about the oath that they have taken and about your privacy. Bring it to a community vote since you failed to do this in the first place...
