1. Call to Order and Roll Call
Present: Councilmembers Aalfs, Richards and Derwin, Vice Mayor Wernikoff, and Mayor Hughes

2. Report out of Closed Session Report
a. Town Attorney Silver – Report out on the April 13, 2022, closed session.
Town Attorney Silver advised the Council conducted two close sessions on April 27, 2022:
one involving performance review of the Town Manager and the second involving anticipated litigation. There was no reportable action from either session.

a. Resource Conservation District – Update on Sphere of Influence Kellyx Nelson, Executive Director, San Mateo County Resource Conservation District, gave a presentation on their operations, proposed changes to their boundaries, and opportunities for collaboration with the Town and residents.
Comments/questions were received on this item by Rita Comes and Caroline Vertongen.

M/S Wernikoff/Aalfs to approve items 5.b. through 5.e. on the Consent Agenda. Motion carried unanimously by roll call vote.
5.a. Approval of Minutes – Action and Detailed Summary Minutes for the Regular and Special Meetings of April 27, 2022
The minutes for the April 27th meeting were not approved and will be presented at the meeting of May 25, 2022 for approval.
6. Regular Agenda – Public Hearing
a. Recommendation from Town Attorney – Adoption of Resolution approving Amendment No. 6 to Town Manager Employment Agreement
Town Attorney Silver presented a Resolution approving amendments to the Town Manager’s employment agreement.
Motion
M/S Derwin/Aalfs to adopt the Resolution approving Amendment No. 6 to Town Manager Employment Agreement. Motion carried unanimously by roll call vote. b. Update – Green Building Ordinance Update
Assistant to the Town Manager Brandi de Garmeaux presented an update to the Green Building Ordinance, followed by Council questions and discussion.
Discussion item only. No motion taken.
7. COUNCIL LIAISON COMMITTEE AND REGIONAL AGENCIES REPORTS All five Council members provided reports on the last two week’s regional meetings, local committee meetings, subcommittee meetings, and other items of note.
8. TOWN MANAGER REPORT
The Town Manager provided his regular report.
9. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS
The Council reviewed written communications for the body over the last two weeks.
