PORTOLA VALLEY TOWN COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES – NOVEMBER 12, 2025
1. CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL
Mayor Hasko called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m. Roll was taken by the Clerk.
Present: Councilmembers Rebecca Flynn, Mary Hufty, Helen Wolter, Vice Mayor Craig Taylor, Mayor Judith Hasko
Absent: None
Others: Town Manager Darcy Smith, Town Attorney Catherine Engberg, Former Interim Town Manager Mark Linder, Town Clerk Veronica Dao
2. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
Mayor Hasko invited public comments on the agenda items. None were received.
3. CLOSED SESSION
The Council went into Closed Session at 5:33 p.m. to discuss the following:
a. PUBLIC EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE EVALUATION (Govt. Code Section 54957) Three-Month Check In
Title: Town Manager Darcy Smith
b. PUBLIC EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE EVALUATION (Govt. Code Section 54957) Title: Town Attorney Catherine Engberg
4. ADJOURNMENT
The Council reconvened from Closed Session at approximately 7:00 p.m. and announced it would continue its session after the regular meeting.
Following the adjournment of the regular meeting, Council went back into closed session at 10:35 p.m.
The Council reconvened from Closed Session and adjourned the meeting at approximately 11:05 p.m.
