CITY OF POWAY NOTICE AND SUMMARY OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 854 was introduced at the regular City Council meeting of February 15, 2021. ORDINANCE NO. 854 entitled, “An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Poway, California, Amending Title 16 of the Poway Municipal Code Sections 16.58.020, 16.58.090, 16.58.100, 16.58.110, 16.60.030, 16.62.030, 16.82.220, and 16.82.400, Relating to Floodplain Management Regulations.” The Ordinance will amend Title 16 of the Poway Municipal Code to ensure the City's floodplain management regulations continue to meet or exceed the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and Community Rating System (CRS) requirements. It will also make minor modifications/updates. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days after its adoption.
