SUBJECT: Acceptance of the Fire Station 3 HVAC Controls Replacement Project; with Sunbelt Controls, Inc., as Complete
Summary:
On April 5, 2022, the City Council awarded the contract for the Fire Station 3 HVAC Controls Replacement project; to Sunbelt Controls, Inc. in the amount of $105,000.00. This action will accept the project as complete .
Recommended Action:
It is recommended the City Council:
(1) Accept the Fire Station 3 HVAC Controls Replacement project as complete; (2) Authorize the City Clerk to file and record the Notice of Completion; Discussion:
This heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) project involved the replacement of the computer and software that run the system. All the wiring from the computer to the actuators and control devices that are spread throughout the buildings were also replaced. There were no change orders. The final contract amount remains $105,000.00.
This action accepts the Fire Station 3 HVAC Controls Replacement project as complete.
Environmental Review:
The matter of acceptance of public improvements that have been completed, which were the subject of a prior environmental determination, is not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act.
