Discussion:
The FY 2022-23 Street Maintenance project is part of the City's Annual Pavement Management Program that placed Type II emulsion aggregate slurry on 98 streets. Streets included with this project are located within Zone 5, which encompasses residential streets along Poway Road and Garden Road and arterial streets including Poway Road from Community Road to Highway 67 and Community Road from Poway Road to Stowe Drive. The project also included raising survey monuments, water valve cans and sewer manhole lids to grade. The work was coordinated in Zone 5 with the FY 2021-2022 Annual Street Overlay and FY 2022-2023 Citywide Striping contracts.
There were two change orders for this project totaling $5,330.51. The change orders included remobilization costs due to delay of obtaining the CalTrans permit to close Poway Grade and a zero out change order to adjust the contract to the exact quantities placed. The final contract amount is $1,315,984.97.
