Design Intent
The project was designed around a farmhouse
vernacular that reinforces the rural, agrarian
design theme and evokes the City in the Country
aesthetic.
• Simple, utilitarian forms grouped together

eating outdoor spaces and courtyards.
• Natural materials including warm gray

tone, off-white stucco, glass and wood, all
capped with standing seam metal roofs.
• Indoor & Outdoor connections are
a
chieved through large window openings,
garage door, and outdoor covered spaces.
• Indoor spaces are open, simple volumes.
• Communal spaces w ere created
throughout the club to offer members
opportunities to socialize together.

Modifications
• Relocated pickleball courts to the east side of the
site, screened by the building and the masonry walls
on the west side of the property.
• Increased the western wall height adjacent
programmed areas to under roof.
• Enhanced landscaping along the property lines.
• Relocated motorcycle parking away from the
neighbors.
• Enhanced the agrarian architecture of the building.
• Changed from proposed Trex fence along parking to
block wall per the Specific Plan.
• Changed prototypical Life Time lighting to lighting
compliant with the Specific Plan.
• Added 6 Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV) stalls
