I You don't often get email from [email protected]. Learn why this is important EXTERNA L Ei'vlf\ lL
City council members and mayor,
City Manager Chris Hazeltine said the below email asking the community representatives Chair John Courvette, Vice Chair Chris Pikus, and members Andrew Cruz, jared wilson, Robert Polston on the Budget Review Committee to budget for a potential Special Election for the Open Seat "is not a BRC related item."
With that determination from the City manager and the lack of the community committee members interest in residents emails, I have forwarded the request to you the mayor and city council members to be proactive in budgeting for a district Special election for the Open Seat on council.

Thank you.

Committee members,
Request a Special Election for D2 seat be budgeted and a recommendation from this committee in light of Barry Leonard's Resignation at last nights May 2 2023 Council meeting.

It is in my opinion this council has too many conflicts of interests and Brown Act Violations to be honest jurist in an appointment for D2 council seat. Consequence could be a much more costly litigation than the cost to hold a special election for the remaining year and a half.

Take for example just last night Mayor Vaus and Brian Pepin were seen leaving Mainstream's aka "Brown Act Bar" back parking lot at 9:11pm when the council meeting had ended just before 8pm.

• "There will be no changes."

• "There will be no
surprises." 15:26
Keep your promises to the
voters that approved the
"Farm". There should be NO
Change from the approved
plan.-Mary
• Build what was approved
and what the community
clearly is asking for.

Lifetime doesn't belong
here, we want to support
our local businesses and
what they were promised.

•
11 I'm not here to go bankrupt
on this project, it has taken
enough out of me. But what
we will do is put the land up
for sale."
I voted for the farm plans
because I felt it was a
great fit for our .
community; very family
oriented . The new
proposals are not what
our community wants or
needs . It is no longer a
family community plan.

Why can't politicians,
developers etc . keep their
promises!!! I wouldn't have
voted for the farm
development if I knew
they were able to change_
the original plans.-Tamm1e
• A massive commercial
space was not in the
plan. To add it after the
vote is disingenuous
and driven by greed.

Do the right thing and
support this special
community. No major
commercial space
revisions to the
redevelopment plan
elected by voters.

We vote based on the information we're given, trusting our city to maintain honesty and integrity . We're all responsible for the health and future of our great city, and we need great communication and high trust. Traffic expectations was a huge component of my decision and the specific
businesses chosen impact traffic greatly.-Kristin
• Our elected officials should enforce what we voted for and NOT allow significant changes changes the builder is trying to get away with. NO on increased commercial fitness center plan and NO on unapproved elevation changes. Honor the
commitment to voters and the small businesses!
