Dear Mayor Vaus and Members of the City Council,
My name is Rose Maligat and I have been a Poway resident since 1985. I am also an active Poway voter. Due to a vacancy in the District 2 city council member position, I have heard that the city council will be appointing someone soon. I am strongly recommending Carl Browning to take this seat.

I have known Carl since 1998 and he has proven himself to be a caring and conscientious individual with a practical and analytical mind. I met Carl through his volunteering efforts at Poway High School and was impressed with his strong work ethic and dedication. He continued to volunteer at Poway High long after his children had graduated. We have remained in touch and I have attended gatherings at his house for non-profit events and other fundraisers. These events are always wonderfully organized and very popular.

Carl is an honest man with strong morals and integrity. He is dedicated to the city of Poway and I cannot imagine anyone more suited to fill this position.

Dear Mayor Vaus and Council Members,
The Collins Family has resided in Council District 2 for thirty three years. We love this area of Poway due to its many amenities. However, the area has rapidly changed with the construction and development of the Farm community.

Now more than ever, we need a council member that will truly represent us. There will be many candidates that seek the current vacancy. We would like to recommend Carl Browning for your consideration. He is a team player that has a very thorough knowledge about District 2. We have listen to many of his presentations at council meetings on City and District issues and found them to be quite insightful to problem solving the issue.

We believe Carl Browning has all the qualifications and personal qualities to represent District 2 on the council. Above all, he would be effective in representing all segments of our important district.

Thank you,
