Meetings | Regular City Council meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 13325 Civic Center Drive, Poway, CA 92064. The Council Chamber will be open to the public.
Speakers | Persons wishing to address the Council on matters not on the agenda may do so under Public Comment. Those wishing to speak on items on the agenda may do so when the item is being considered. Please submit a Speaker's Slip to the City Clerk prior to the meeting or the announcement of the item. All comments will be limited to three (3) minutes. Per the Poway Municipal Code, the speaking time may be reduced.

7. Tentative Tract Map (TTM) 23-0001; a request for approval of the second one-year time extension for a previously approved subdivision (TTM18-005)
City Manager’s Recommendation: It is recommended the City Council take public input, close the public hearing, and adopt the Resolution approving a second one-year time extension of the approval for TTM 18-005.

8. Specific Plan Amendment (SPA) 24-0001, a request to amend the South Poway Specific Plan to add “Battery Storage Facilities” and “Battery Energy Storage Systems” as conditionally permitted uses in the Light Industrial (LI) land use designation
City Manager’s Recommendation: It is recommended the City Council adopt the attached Resolution to amend the Specific Plan to add “Battery Storage Facility” as a specifically defined use that will be conditionally permitted in the Specific Plan’s LI land use designation. If approved, new applications for battery storage uses in the Specific Plan area would require the discretionary approval of a conditional use permit (CUP) by the City Council.

9. Minor Development Review Application for Residential Projects
Mayor’s Recommendation: The Mayor requests concurrence to direct staff to bring forward recommendations for eliminating the MDRA process for residential projects including a single home, additions, remodels and detached accessory structures, and unlighted recreational courts with the exception of projects with habitat as identified in the City’s Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP).
COUNCIL ACTION: 5/0 Council Concurrence.
