Add actual shade to the park structures that were recently installed. The 30 year old wooden structures that were torn down provided over 50% shade. Picture taken 6/2024. Families that use the park generally bring their own pop up shade structures because of lack of shade.
Shade cloth {20ft x 20ft) or lattice work on top would work.
Put a frisbee golf course at Lake Poway, north of the archery range.
The nearest Frisbee golf course is in Escondido. Picture is a Frisbee golf basket. Each professional basket is around $500 and will last 20-30 years, set the pole in concrete. The terrain doesn't have to be flat, hilly is fine!
