CALL TO ORDE
Mayor Vaus called the Regular Meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

City Attorney Alan Fenstermacher presented the item.

As requested by the Mayor, City Clerk Gallagher titled the Ordinance for introduction.
Motioned by Mayor Vaus, seconded by Councilmember De Hoff to introduce Ordinance No. 872 entitled "An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Poway, California, Amending Chapters 2.04, 2.08 and 2.18 of The Poway Municipal Code," first reading by title only, waive further reading and schedule the adoption of the Ordinance at the next regularly scheduled City Council meeting. Motion carried 4/011 by following roll -call vote:

PUBLIC HEARINGS:
11. Public Hearing for Proposed San Diego County Water Authority Pass -Through Water Rates Mayor Vaus opened the Public Hearing at 7:43 p.m.
Director of Finance Craig Schmollinger presented the item along with a PowerPoint presentation.

Mayor Vaus closed the Public Hearing at 8:06 p.m.
City Clerk Gallagher announced 120 protests were received which does not constitute a majority protest.
Council discussion ensued.
Motioned by Councilmember De Hoff, seconded by Councilmember Edmondson to adopt Resolution No. 24-071 entitled "A Resolution of The City Council of The City of Poway, California, Establishing Water Service Charges and Rates Per Section 13.11.120 of the Poway Municipal Code." Motion carried unanimously.

Motioned by Councilmember De Hoff, seconded by Councilmember Edmondson to fill the vacancy via appointment and to take the following actions: 1) announce the vacancy and solicit applications; 2) set a filing deadline for the submittal of applications; and 3) conduct a public meeting to hold interviews and make a selection as soon as possible. Motion carried unanimously.
