I am writing to notify you and City Staff and City Residents of Poway that I will be recusing myself (or abstaining) from any vote on Deputy Mayor or D1 Special Election.
My e-mails to you never said I would trade votes, but rather indicated my preference on the above two matters. To make everything extremely clear, I will recuse or abstain myself from the two above votes at the upcoming meeting.
