To whom it may concern,
I'm writing as instructed regarding the concerns we have regarding the charges that are proposed to be assessed on our Property tax bill for non compliance. I'm forwarding here the conversation that took place between myself and the Poway code compliance officer. As you can see on the attached, I completed and submitted the self-certification form on 05/23/24, prior to the deadline and I received the timely submission response that same day. Then in Sept of that year, I received a notice of violation that claimed I didn't take care of the weed abatement. I promptly wrote to the Code of Compliance and was informed that there was a "mishap" and that I can disregard the invoice bill, which is all in the attached email chain.
I have been kindly fighting this bill for months but to no avail. I have worked hard on upkeeping the grounds behind my house to follow the weed abatement protocol not only because I was instructed but out of the sheer safety of removing any fire hazards for the sake of our home.

Hello,
I received in the mail over the weekend a Notice of Violation with regards to the weed abatement. In the attached letter sent on 05/23/24, I certified that the fire hazards would be removed. This service was completed back in June so such matters have been addressed already. Let me know if there's any further action that needs to be done.
