Meeting convened at 6:03 p.m. Board President Reid called the meeting to order. b. Pledge of Allegiance

Dr. Koligian took roll for Folsom Cordova USD Board of Education. All in attendance.
City Clerk, Stacy Leitner, took roll for City of Rancho Cordova Council. All in attendance with the exception of Council Member, Donald Terry.
Additional staff in attendance: Micah Runner, City Manager; and Adam Lindgren, City Attorney Deputy City Clerk, Lydia Konopka, took roll for City of Folsom Council. All in attendance with the exception of Mayor, Rosario Rodriguez.

III. INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS
Board President Reid welcomed the City of Rancho Cordova and City of Folsom Councils.
Board President Reid shared a brief historical summary for the purpose of the special joint meeting tonight.
Board President Reid welcomed opening remarks by Mayor Linda Budge, City of Rancho Cordova Council, and Vice Mayor YK Chalamcherla, City of Folsom Council. Mayor Budge and Vice Mayor Chalamcherla, shared opening remarks.
IV. DISCUSSION
a. Process of District Re-Organization and Feasibility Study Report Dr. Koligian welcomed Brianna García, Vice President and Consultant of School Services of California (SSCAL), to provide information on the process of a district reorganization and feasibility study. She also recognized Sean Martin, Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, for his assistance on this item.

Ms. García shared information on how the reorganization process typically works and provided an opportunity to answer questions. She shared that the feasibility study would take approximately six to eight weeks to complete, after the requested information is received from the District.

The City of Rancho Cordova Council Members shared their thoughts and are in general support for a feasibility study.
The City of Folsom Council Members shared their thoughts and are in general support for a feasibility study.
Folsom Cordova USD Board of Education shared their thoughts and are in general support for a feasibility study. Trustees gave direction to staff to bring back as a discussion/action item at the June 15, regular Board meeting.
Any comments submitted in writing using the Google form, are attached to the minutes.

Process served) by the EGUSD that have delayed building secondary schools and busing of District Re-Organization kids to Ek Grove. Would the city be looking for incorporate this area into the new 6/8/2023 14:24:01 : Amber Lindsey Parent and Feasibility Study Report district or would we continue to stay with EGUSD?
