SPECIAL MEETING - CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Mayor Sander called the Special meeting to order in the American River Room at 5:06 p.m.
Council Members Present: Linda Budge, Garrett Gatewood, Siri Pulipati, Donald Terry, and Mayor David Sander
Council Members Absent: None
Staff Members Present: Stacy Leitner, Adam Lindgren, Persephonie Riley, and Micah Runner
PUBLIC COMMENT
Mayor Sander stated that public comment would be taken at the time the item on the agenda was heard.
SPECIAL MEETING
3.1. Subject: Discussion on Public School Educational Opportunities for Rancho Cordova Students and Process for School District Reorganization.
Recommendation: Receive an update on the educational opportunities in Rancho Cordova.

Mayor Sander closed the public comment period.
ACTION: Motion to conduct a community poll and return to Council with an implementation study by Terry second by Gatewood;
Motion passed with a 5:0 vote.
ACTION: Motion to send a letter to the Elk Grove Unified School District requesting school facility and transportation needs of Rancho Cordova residents be addressed by Pulipati second by Terry;
Motion passed with a 5:0 vote.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Sander adjourned the meeting at 8:36 p.m.
