SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
CALL TO ORDER
A special meeting of the Rancho Cucamonga City Council and Planning Commission was held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 in the Tri-Communities Conference Room, 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730. Mayor L. Dennis Michael called the meeting to order at 2:30 p.m.
Present were Council Members Kristine Scott, Ashely Stickler, Mayor Pro Tem Lynne Kennedy and Mayor L.
Dennis Michael.
Present were Planning Commission Members Melissa Diaz, Nathan Cooke, Tony Morales, Vice Chair Bryan Dopp and Chairman Al Boling.
Also present were Elisa C. Cox, City Manager; Mike McCliman, Assistant City Manager; Julie Sowles, Deputy City Manager; Peter Castro, Deputy City Manager; Jennifer Nakamura, Planning Director; Nicholas Ghirelli, City Attorney; and Ashton R. Arocho, City Clerk Services Director.
Council Member Stickler led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Council Member Ryan Hutchison arrived at 2:32 p.m.

B. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION
B1. Land Use and Zoning Update.
B2. State Density Bonus Requirements.
B3. New/Pending Federal and State Housing Legislation.
City Manager Cox introduced Planning Director Nakamura, who gave a PowerPoint presentation on items B1, B2, and B3. Director Nakamura and City Council/Planning Commission discussed the city's land use and zoning update, state density bonus requirements and reviewed new/pending federal and state housing legislation.
C. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Michael adjourned the meeting at 3:52 p.m.
