SPECIFIC REQUEST OR RECOMMENDATION
That the City Council appoint Council Members to serve on various City and Outside Agency Boards/Committees/Commissions as listed in the staff report .
JUSTIFICATION OR INFORMATION
Mayor Weill nominates the following individuals to serve on the below-listed bodies for the remainder of the current term:
• Council Member Downs -Agua Caliente Tribe Committee (Delegate) • Council Member Downs -Coachella Valley Animal Campus Board (Delegate) • Council Member Downs -CVAG Executive Committee (Alternate) • Council Member Downs -Coachella Valley Conservation Commission (Alternate) • Council Member Downs -Library and Observatory Advisory Commission (Liaison) • Council Member Downs -Visit Greater Palm Springs Board (Delegate) • Mayor Pro Tern Townsend -Speaker Series Commission (Liaison) Nominations must be approved by a majority vote of the City Council.
