Re:  Written letter to be entered in the Public record and made available to the general public (In‐person and remotely) for the scheduled Rancho Mirage City Council meeting for March 3, 2022 at 1:PM ‐ Agenda Items: 1) Non‐Agenda Public comment.  2) Minutes

Dear Current City of Rancho Mirage Council,

Please review my written statements listed below prior to the consideration of each agenda Item being decided.

1)  Non‐Agenda Public comment:

During the February 17, 2022 Rancho Mirage City Council meeting Public testimony was provided and was recorded incorrectly into the Citys written statement (minutes).  Other verbal testimony was also recorded in a matter that deleted major aspects of the speakers statements.

Please assept this written review of February 17, 2022 verbal testimony that was distorted in the Citys official written minutes along with further details.

The City's actions of providing one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000.) to an organization that many‐of the current City Council members have drectly been associated with and are still drectly and Indrectly related too ‐ have shown extremely bad judgement of those elected officials.

The Children's Discovery Museum of the Desert (CDMoD) have only declined in local Residents participation for decades.  City of Rancho Mirage Council member (Richard Kite) have continued to allow the CDMoD to gain City resources while he was serving on the CODoD board of directors. Combined with the City's current (rotating) Mayor (Ted Weill) supporting private CODoD partner (the hero in you foundation ‐ Bunni and Rick Benaron) that private  non‐profit organization has also gained City financial support from the City of Rancho Mirage through City Council action.

The Children's Discovery Museum of the Desert (CDMoD) have allowed two (2) major telecommunication towers (for‐ profit companies) to be located on there property and have allowed organizations partners (the hero in you foundation) and other private sector companies (for‐profit company) such as (Baroneart ‐ Tony and Karen Barone) to display Items on there private campus. City of Rancho Mirage Council member (Richard Kite) have openly supported CDMoD revenue

2 drivers of lease agreements for mastive telecommunication towers placed on CDMoD property and other activities surrounding supporting a private sector company to operate within a City residential neighborhood (Baronart) that supplies unique and unusual Items for the CDMoD.

It's crystal clear that the current City Council have used it's authority to support certain special Interests at taxpayer's expense.

2)  Agenda Item:  Minutes  (February 17, 2022 ‐ City Council)

Please correct the written meeting minutes of February 17, 2022 in regards to non‐agenda Public comment (Brad Anderson)
It was incorrectly recorded:
"expressed concern that there may be a conflict of interest regarding the City Council and the Palm Springs Cemetery District"
My Intentions (statements) were:

There was a concern of a conflict of interest between the City of Rancho Mirage contracted attorney (Steven Quintanilla) and the Palm Springs Cemetery District, where (Steven Quintanilla) is the active legal counsel. (Steve Quintanilla) was acting on behalf of both the Palm Springs Cemetery District and the City of Rancho Mirage (Code Compliance Department).

Also:

It was recorded in the City's written minutes that the City Manager (Isaiah Hagerman) reconvened the February 17, 2022 City Council meeting at 3:45PM.  And it was written that the meeting was adjourned at 3:45PM ‐

Please consider allowing the future reader's of Citys official documents (meeting minutes) accurate Information without deception.

The February 17, 2022 Public City Council meeting was in close session for a considerably length of time (over one hour) to discuss one recurring topic (STR's) ‐ it's unknown by the general Public,  if the Close session meeting was in session for the total time of being unmonitored by the Public? And if meals (shack's) were serve or shared (potential Increase exposure to dieases) during the excessive amount of time away from Public view (Public meeting).

It's been repeatedly demonstrated that the current Rancho Mirage City Council have not returned to chambers to adjourn the Open Public meeting of the City Council and its many other political elements.

Sincerely,

Brad Anderson | 37043 Ferber Dr Rancho Mirage, CA
