Non-Agenda Public comment:
it's clear that the "expanded" Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) have been implemented without City resident's involvement or direct ongoing knowledge of said invasive monitoring program of citizens within City boundaries.
Request for proposal (RFP) for the already installed Invasive monitoring devices (Flock- ALPR's) and City Council approval of said progressive program lacked accountability. Public Comments were not accepted in regards to any aspect of this City of Rancho Mirage underhanded and non-transparent process to "rush" the installment of the nondescript surveillance devices throughout the City.
Disingenuous statements were made by City officials to deceive local residents of the true intentions in regards to the overwhelming number of invasive monitoring devices place throughout the City.
Please consider the Public good over the ability to cause unnecessary harm to individuals and or private clubs (religious gathering- churches/political venues) that the current City Council may find incomparable to their ambitions to promote a campaign of non-American family values. (through heavy handed broad spectrum political policing and other deviant behaviors and Images that are supported by certain City officials).
