Re: Written letter to be entered in the Public record for the City of Rancho Mirage "Special" meeting Dear current City Council members,
Please assept this written statement for the City of Rancho Mirage "Special" Council meeting that was scheduled just over the twenty four (24) hour State of California requirement. Please be aware that the City of Rancho Mirage had cancelled it's regular City Council meeting for the first Thursday of August 2023, and has chosen to select a different date and time to call for a unique and unusual special meeting of it's elected officials which will reduce and or eliminate many City Residents from attending and or any knowledge of a special City Council meeting being held.
It's been well demonstrated that the City of Rancho Mirage contracted legal counsel (Steven Quintanilla and associates) have been working without open publicly accessible performance reviews and working under a outdated service contract without City officials seeking (RFP's) for other independent non- compromised legal firms to service City business. It should be realized that the City's current legal counsel may be less-transparent with City related business (legal Issues) due to the increase and continuous implementation of litigation against City Resident's that help to fund the private sector business of "Steven Quintanilla and associates" that has No oversight from City of Rancho Mirage citizen's.
Once again the "Closed session" topic of City Council meeting(s) will exclude the general public from City of Rancho Mirage business and allow the current City Council members to conspire together without a creditable source to report any misdeeds and or illegal activities surrounding those secret meetings (closed session) to potential harm others through litigation.
