CALL TO ORDER - 3:00 P.M.
FLAG SALUTE - Led by Mayor Pro Tem Weill.
ROLL CALL - Mallotto, O'Keefe, Weill, Downs — All Present.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
Wayne Avrashow, Rancho Mirage resident, congratulated Mayor Pro Tem Weill and Council Member O'Keefe on their successful outcomes in the recent election. He explained that he chose not to apply as he believed electoral victory held greater significance and emphasized the importance of allowing voters to select the next Council Member through a special election.
INTERVIEW RANCHO MIRAGE CITY COUNCIL APPLICANTS
Mayor Downs welcomed everyone, gave an overview of the application process, and explained how the interview process would work. He also spoke regarding the recent municipal election.
Council Member Mallotto expressed gratitude to all the applicants for their interest in serving the City Council.
Council Member O'Keefe acknowledged that the interview process was not easy and thanked the applicants for their courage in participating.

Mayor Downs thanked the applicants for participating in the interview process and announced that the a special meeting would be held on November 15, 2024, at 1:00 PM, to consider making an appointment.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to consider, the special meeting of the City Council, Library and Observatory Board, Housing Authority Board, and the City Council representing the Redevelopment Successor Agency was adjourned at 6:03 P.M.
